UKAS Accreditation

GIC is accredited by the Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for certification of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and environmental management systems (ISO 14001).
Approval was granted under the Licence Number 045.

UKAS is the national accreditation body recognized by the United Kingdom government to assess organisations that provide certification services against internationally agreed standards.

UKAS operates under a Memorandum of Understanding with the UK Government through the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry.

The Department of Trade and Industry has licensed UKAS to use national accreditation marks featuring the Royal Crown and to sub-license the use of these marks to UKAS accredited bodies such as GIC. The Royal Crown signifies government recognition.

 

JAS-ANZ Accreditation

GIC is accredited by JAS-ANZ (Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand) for certification of quality management system (ISO 9001), environmental management system (ISO 14001) and food safety management system (ISO 22000). Approval was first granted in December 2006 under the Registration Number S3510506UL (QMS), E3520506UL (EMS), and H3530506UL (FSMS).

JAS-ANZ is the government-appointed accreditation body for Australia and New Zealand responsible for providing accreditation of conformity assessment bodies in the fields of certification and inspection. Accreditation by JAS-ANZ demonstrates the competence and independence of these bodies such as GIC.

JAS-ANZ Secretariat is located in Canberra and Wellington, New Zealand, is the administrative arm of the Board and its operations are overseen by a Governing Board comprising of members appointed by the Australian Government and New Zealand Government. Its services are now available in over 20 countries.

GIC scope of accreditation is published on the JAS-ANZ website and the accreditation entitles us to use the JAS-ANZ Accreditation Symbol and IAF Mark for our certification services.
