Achieving excellence through certification

Initial Assessment

The initial certification involves a 2 stage assessment process, including a document review and normally two site visits.

You should apply for certification in the first instance to a GIC Office in your locality.

A GIC Auditor will conduct a review of your documentation to gauge the readiness of your management system. You may need to take improvements/corrective actions where necessary.

GIC Auditors will perform an initial assessment, which comprises preliminary assessment (stage 1) and certification assessment (stage 2) to determine whether you should be recommended for certification.

Continual assessment

Once you have received certification and been awarded your certificate, your management system(s) will be periodically checked by GIC to ensure that it continues to meet the requirements of the standard.

Whatever your industry sector, wherever your location, GIC assures you of a quality approach to all you certification needs.

For certification with GIC, contact your local GIC office. If your location is not listed, please email us at enquiry@gicg.co.uk and we will direct you to your nearest GIC office.
