All our Trainers are very experienced in their field having had long careers in the industry as well as knowledge of modern teaching methods. We practice what is called 'accelerated learning'. This is different from the traditional lecture style you may be familiar with. The emphasis is on whole brain learning by doing, working on practical case studies in teams to evolve the answers guided by the tutor. Each of the sessions that you participate in will have learning objectives, so you will know exactly what needs to be achieved. Training is conducted in a workshop style with lectures, exercises and business games using case studies. Participants would be actively involved in every stage of the programme.
International surveys have been carried out that suggest that, if you just hear something you will forget it in a short while; if you see something you may remember it; if you do something you will understand it; but if you practice it you will become competent. An example would be driving a car; however many lectures, videos and demonstrations you see you will never become a competent driver unless you experience it yourself behind the wheel.

These courses provide an effective route to a professional qualification that is recognized world-wide.
GIC can offer both Public Courses and 'In Company Events'; the latter may be more cost effective for an organization that requires a number of its staff to be trained.
